Abstract

This panel is interested in the interaction between regulatory governance and technical innovation. It welcomes papers on regulating fields such as artificial intelligence, the so-called platform economy and the distribution of content on social media. Moreover, it is interested in papers on the usefulness of classic regulatory tools in regulating these fields and in the emergence of new tools. Finally, it also welcomes papers on the impact of growing complexity and accelerating business cycles on regulating technical innovations.
