Abstract

This panel analyses the agency of European international organisations in international politics, with specific emphasis on recent dynamics in Central and Eastern Europe. Its goal is to reflect on the EU and its institutions in current turbulent times, including how they are perceived by national states or other actors. However, the panel also considers other sub-regional international institutions that have (re-)emerged as important players.
