Abstract

This panel is situated at the intersection of (International) Political Economy, Politics, International Relations and Security Studies. It analyses connections between economy, political interests and security in Europe, with a specific emphasis on Central and Eastern Europe. In particular, it is concerned with how political crises or perceived deficiencies stimulate the creation of new (political, economic or strategic) responses to them.
