Abstract

Regionalist movements have become more prominent in the public debate around the globe over the last few years. Often they involve demands to restructure the state in a manner as to devolve powers towards sub-national units. In some instances, these movements seek to form an independent state of their own. This panel presents papers that explore administrative and political restructuring in multilevel countries.
