Abstract

While an integral part of the European political context, sub-national entities have tended to be somewhat overlooked in the European political scholarship. This panel seeks to contribute to European politics by exploring the relationships between the European Union and its subnational territories. It tackles the interaction between the processes of deepening integration and regionalisation in Europe.
