Abstract

These two panels aim to capture the dynamism of party systems in hard times. While the first panel focuses on the questions of political representation and competition, the second one deals with change and adaption in contemporary party systems. Both panels feature theoretical and empirical contributions using different approaches and methods including conceptual, comparative and case study analyses.
