Abstract

Conceptualizing and measuring unequal representation as congruence in a reliably and valid manner is a notoriously difficult task. This Panel invites contributions that tackle two important questions: To what extent does congruence show inequalities in terms of who is represented; and do citizens and representatives have similar ideas when it comes to democratic procedures?
