I am an academic political philosopher. I work at the intersection of political theory and political science, as my research aims at clarifying how large and conflictual societies can and should be held together. This vast question led me to cross various debates, like liberal and realist political theory, theories of justice and theories of legitimacy, solidarity and equality in contemporary political societies. My articles appeared on leading international journals, such as the European Journal of Political Theory, the Journal of Common Market Studies, and the Critical Review of International Social and Political Philosophy. I also published two books in Italian: “E fu lo Stato. Hobbes ed il dilemma che imprigiona” (2010) and “Realtà, Necessità, Conflitto: Il realismo in filosofia politica” (2020).
