About

I am a social and political psychologist at the University of Dundee in Scotland. I have a PhD in Psychology from the Australian National University, and prior to my move to Scotland, I held academic positions in Australia at Western Sydney University (2016-2019), Monash University (2012-2016), and the University of Sydney (2006-2012). Broadly, I am interested in the study of social identity processes and their impact on political attitudes and behaviours. In my most recent research, I have focused on research on online communities looking at how collective identities and behaviours are shaped through online interactions. This research has been conducted on online political communities such as far-right and white supremacist online groups.
