Freedom of Movement, Citizenship and Welfare Membership

We welcome papers drawing on both theoretical and empirical literatures, looking at issues in the crisis of EU internal freedom of movement of persons, in terms of challenges to the status and rights of EU citizens in member states, the articulation of immigration and race politics with the reception of EU migrants, and the implications of events such as Brexit and the rise of new populist parties.
