Abstract

Migration is currently one of the most controversial topics in Europe. This Panel considers the role of social movements in relation to issues of migrants’ mobilization, relations to other forms of mobilization and identities, patterns of activists’ mobility and its impact, such as in transnational queer activism in Europe, controversies on migration policy and the role of organized civil society in advocacy processes.
