Wednesday 16:00 - 17:30 BST (07/07/2021)

Abstract

This session will enhance our understanding of the challenges and possibilities of responses to OC and corrupt behaviours and practices at different levels of policy making, from local to externally driven/supported ones. Speakers will reflect on and discuss: existing responses from a normative, policy and social perspective, taking into consideration the possibility for the development of resilience schemes within a given regime or society; how to investigate and evaluate the development and impact of responses to corruption, also considering the channels though which their effectiveness can be undermined; how to build greater policy coherence across OC and AC agendas at various levels of policy making (in terms of actors involved, cooperation platforms and mechanisms, sustainability of the response…) and how to implement them effectively.
