All Winter School classes take place on the Feki Campus of Bamberg Graduate School of Social Sciences (BAGSS), Feldkirchenstraße 21. Find the Winter School office in the foyer on the ground floor. Campus map
The campus is open Monday to Friday 07:00–20:00.
The Mensa (refectory) close to the main building serves hot and cold food. There is a small cafeteria inside the Mensa. Use your Bamberg ID card to get discounted prices. Vending machines for drinks and snacks are on the ground floor. Opposite the main building is a bakery/café and a small supermarket/deli. The Mensa is closed at weekends, and on Sundays most nearby shops/establishments are closed.

Find the tourist office in the city centre, next to Bar Aposto, Geyerswörthstraße 5, 96047. There will be a social gathering at Bar Aposto during the first night of the Winter School, on Friday 22 February.

EU citizens do not need a visa to enter Germany. If you are from Australia, Canada, Israel, Japan, New Zealand, Norway, USA (and many other countries), you do not require a Visa, provided your stay does not exceed 90 days. We cannot provide on-site childcare but there is a fully equipped room for children and parents on the ground floor of the faculty. Ask for the room code at the Winter School office.

Hospital (Klinikum) Buger Straße 80, 96049. From the campus take bus 901 from Kloster-Banz Straße towards the city centre. The bus will stop at the central bus station (ZOB) for a few minutes. Between 20:00 and midnight take bus 937 from the ZOB towards Klinikum. After midnight you will have to take a taxi.
